Online Payment and Renewal

Application Process:

• Individual certification is renewed by completion of the required Individual Certification Renewal form, submitted proof that 30 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEU) have been obtained since the professional’s last renewal period, and the payment of the renewal fee.
• All 30 CEUs can be completed in any combination of online, webinar, in-person, or other e-learning training with a certificate from the provider.
• CDVP and CEU content must be related to the 40-hour Domestic Violence and/or 20-hour PAIP training topics listed in the ICDVP Manual.  CEUs cannot be utilized for subsequent renewal applications.
• CDVP and CPAIP certification is valid for two years from the date of issue unless suspended or revoked by the ICDVP Board for disciplinary reasons.
• Renewal forms may be submitted no sooner than two months prior to the expiration of certification.

Checklist of Items to include in application:

1. Attach the Individual Certification Renewal form (ICDVP Form 8) completely filled out and signed (get ICDVP Form 8 here).  The form is fillable but must have a written signature on the form before it can be uploaded through the website.
2. Attach copies of all attendance certificates/letters for trainings listed on the Individual Certification Renewal form.
3. Attach any petition(s), the materials requested by petition(s), and the required petition fees.
