Salary:

$5,000 Signing Bonus for first time employees with MFS! ($1,000 on or around the 2nd paycheck, $2,000 after completing six months of employment, and final payment of $2,000 after 1 year of employment).

Required Education and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university, required. Minimum of two years of experience in related field, required. LSW or LPC, Required. Bilingual in Spanish and English-required. 40 hours Domestic Violence Training certificate or willingness to take training, required. Employment with MFS requires proof of vaccination or an approved Medical exemption, required. Must have access to a vehicle, valid driver's license and proof of insurance to perform essential job functions, required. Experience working with children and teens in a school setting. Knowledge and experience of trauma-informed care, ACE's, implementing Evidence-Based practices, group work, and ability to work in a team. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.

• Do you want to be a part of a groundbreaking program that changes intimate partner violence? A new innovative program has been launched to serve those who cause harm. PEACE Within Chicago Homes program uses community accountability and a trauma-informed approach to address the pain and trauma and help change the narrative about persons who causes harm, while supporting victim safety. The Bilingual Social Worker or Counselor will engage in community-based outreach, offer comprehensive individual assessments and interventions, schedule and lead workshops and groups, and provide case management and referrals. Applicants with 40 hours of training in domestic violence issues and/or previous experience working with people who cause harm are preferred.
