This training is an introduction to ideas and concepts related to trafficking co-facilitated by one of ChicagoCAC’s Human Trafficking specialists. Training will cover, defining both sex and labor trafficking with examples of each, identifying myths around trafficking, exploring some strategies and approaches for trafficking screening, highlighting vulnerabilities to trafficking and best practices for approaching survivors, familiarizing audience with Chicago-area trafficking resources, a trafficking case study from ChicagoCAC, and discussing prevention vs. intervention
