Money is a taboo topic in today’s society, making it difficult to discuss even in a therapeutic
setting. In this session, participants will explore the challenges and benefits of discussing matters
of personal finances and the related emotions for their clients. Learn basic approaches to help
empower clients to take a more intentional approach with their finances and seek necessary
resources for additional skill building around money management. Participants will also reflect
on their own reactions and experiences with money that may impact their confidence with
supporting clients with these challenges.
