The Building Beyond the Bias conference will break down and address explicit and implicit biases individuals face when working with both survivors and perpetrators of domestic violence. Attendees will gain valuable insight into legal obligations when reporting abuse, appropriate methods for responding to disclosures of abuse, and tangible strategies to preserve personal well-being when working with those who have experienced trauma. Attendees will look deeper within themselves and learn how to best support their community through engaging group activities and interactive panel discussions from community guest speakers.
