Keynote speaker Deanna Hynes, a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, is a national public speaker with Childhood Victories. She will share her story of being a victim of childhood sexual abuse by her biological father. Deanna will speak about the impact of that abuse on her life, including disclosing at age 13 to her mother who did not support her. At age 20 she disclosed to her husband. She will share her journey from the time of her disclosure until she became a public speaker, including her decision to press charges against her father and the tough legal process she endured to get some sense of justice.
