Notice for ICDVP Certified Sites
IMPORTANT NOTICE: As of 03/01/26, ICDVP will no longer allow the following trainings to be submitted for CDVP/CPAIP renewal applications. These mandated trainings are foundational trainings and not continuing education. The trainings include the following:
- Department of Justice annual Civil Rights Training or agency adaptation
- Illinois required annual Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
- Illinois Department on Aging APSIL – Adult Protective Services Training or agency adaptation
- Illinois DCFS ANCRA Mandated Reporter Training or agency adaptation
CEU training sites can choose to build upon and expand these topics related to domestic violence work for a CEU training, but it cannot be the general mandatory training materials outlined in each of the 4 trainings.
It is the responsibility of ICDVP certified CEU training sites to inform training participants at time of registration when ICDVP CEUs will be awarded for trainings. In addition to that, when a training certificate is issued, there must be language on the certificate that indicates the site is an ICDVP certified CEU training site and the number of CEUs provided.
If an ICDVP certified 40-hour DV training site, 20/20 DV training site, 20-hr PAIP training site, or CEU training site offers a training that does not meet training requirements, a certificate can be issued but must indicate that the training does not qualify for ICDVP candidates and/or CDVP/CPAIP CEUs.
