Required Education and Experience:

• Safe Passage has an opening for a part time Co-Facilitator in the Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP). Bachelor’s degree in human services field or equivalent. Must have an understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault, and victim-centered services. Candidate shall have organizational abilities, good listening skills, and the ability to multi-task. Experience in or familiarity with domestic violence victims’ issues. Espouses a philosophy of egalitarian relationships. Is not a perpetrator of violence.

Job Requirements:

• Primary responsibilities of the Co-Facilitator are: • Provide direct services to PAIP program participants. • Serves as group facilitator for PAIP group, and other groups as needed. • Provide assessments for clients. Assist with other assessments as necessary. • Respects program parameters when discussing cases with other individuals and programs. • Continually strives to gain knowledge and skill in group facilitation. • Has experience in and understanding of domestic violence. • Is familiar with all aspects of victims’ services including domestic violence laws. • Maintains an equitable relationship with co-facilitator. • Keeps self-responsibility and accountability as a primary goal in work with perpetrators
