Salary:

Compensation is commensurate with years of related experience, position requirements, and candidate qualifications. The average salary for the position is $65,503. $5,000 Signing Bonus for first time employees with MFS! ($1,000 on or around the 2nd paycheck, $2,000 after completing six months of employment, and final payment of $2,000 after 1 year of employment).

Required Education and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university, required. Four years of post-graduate social work experience. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required. 40 hours Domestic Violence Training certificate or willingness to take training, required. Employment with MFS requires proof of vaccination or an approved Medical exemption. Must have access to a vehicle, valid driver's license and proof of insurance to perform essential job functions, r Bilingual English/ Spanish, Experience working with children and teens in a school setting. Knowledge and experience of trauma-informed care, ACE's, implementing Evidence-Based practices, group work, and ability to work in a team. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.

Job Requirements:

• PEACE within Chicago Homes program takes a community accountability approach to address the pain and trauma that has led the person who causes harm to use destructive interpersonal violence, while supporting victim safety. The Senior Social Worker will assist in leading the program's development and implementation. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to domestic violence issues and an interest in innovative and trauma-informed approaches to help change the narrative about persons who cause harm. The Senior Social Worker provides supervision to staff and interns, individual clinical services, outreach, workshops, and group services. Applicants with 40 hours of training in domestic violence issues and/or previous experience working with people who cause harm are preferred.
