- Master’s Degree in Human Services, Counseling or Related Field; Valid Driver’s License
- Experience:
- 3-5 years’ Experience Managing in Social Service Setting
- 5 years’ Experience working with Families in Crisis, DV
- Credentialing Required:
- 40 Hour DV Training
- ICDVP Certification
As the Sr. Director of Victim Services, you will have the opportunity to lead and oversee a dynamic division within the Crisis Center for South Suburbia, responsible for key programs such as Lifeline, Hotline operations, and Emergency Services. In this role, you’ll ensure that all programs under your leadership are aligned with a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, all while fostering partnerships with underserved communities and optimizing resources. The Sr. Director of Victim Services will oversee the following responsibilities:
-Supervise the Director of Shelter Operations and the Director of Case Management
-Leading the Victim Services Division, including Lifeline programs, Hotline operations, and Emergency Services, ensuring all services follow trauma-informed, strengths-based, and harm reduction principles.
-Developing annual goals and objectives for each program, evaluating success, and identifying enhancements to improve services.
-Overseeing the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff, interns, and volunteers within the division.
-Ensuring that all client data is accurately documented, program goals are met, and reporting requirements are fulfilled.
-Managing outreach initiatives to underserved and marginalized communities, building relationships with community partners to increase access to resources for survivors.
-Administering program policies and ensuring compliance with funders’ guidelines, reporting on program outcomes, and ensuring timely audits.
-Collaborating with internal teams to coordinate program delivery and provide leadership on high-level crisis intervention management when needed.
-Providing rotating on-call coverage for Victim Services and shift coverage as needed.
-Ensuring programs adhere to funding and DHS service guidelines and managing the Emergency Assistance fund spending for the department.
-Acting as a resource for program staff, ensuring their professional development and skill enhancement through ongoing training.
